Yoquero, The Inspiration Behind It All!

If you have ever been blessed to know the love and bond of an animal, then you you understand the joy they bring. Yoquero 'found us' while roaming the streets in the south valley of Albuquerque. She would not let us touch her or come near her. Time and trust would bring her to us in our home. After some patience and gentleness, she never wanted to leave my side (nor I to hers!) We became inseparable soulmates.

At ~8 years old, she was diagnosed with cancer and given 6-8 months to live. We were devastated. Since chemotherapy might only give her a year of life, we decided to try holistic and natural medicine. Cannabis was a very important part of her healing and health journey. For Six and a half years, and the rest of her life, she remained cancer-free. She passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2023.

Yoquero changed everything for us-- how we eat, what products we buy... and she showed us the healing power of herbs, mushrooms, good food and pure love. She is our inspiration and blessing: the reason our salves are made. Our gratitude and love for her is within every small batch salve we make for you.

When our precious pup, Yoquero, was diagnosed with cancer, we made it our mission to help her heal holistically. Cannabis was instrumental in her healing process. We made tinctures and topicals to help her with any pain and to reduce her surgical scars. We began to see how the salves we made also helped with our own "human ailments." That's when we realized we could help others alleviate pain and provide an alternative, natural way of healing without the harmful side effects from pharmaceuticals.
